CONSPIRACY!

DISTORTION FOX NEWS

“I warn you, I am just beginning! If there is in your hearts a vestige of love for your country, love for humanity, love for justice, listen carefully… I know that FOX NEWS will try to suppress the truth by all possible means; I know that there will be a conspiracy to bury me in oblivion. But my voice will not be stifled, it will rise from my breast even when I feel most alone, and my heart will give it all the fire that callous cowards deny it… Condemn me. It does not matter. You will absolve me.”

Do bilingual people think different than monolingual people?

According to what my parents always told me... someone who speaks two or more languages thinks in a different way than one that does. They weren't saying I was more intelligent but that I since I am Bilingual, i have a different route in making connections in my brain. Lets now look into what researchers have to say about this;
"Control, develops earlier in bilingual children than in comparable monolinguals. In the theory of cognitive complexity and control, Zelazo and Frye argue that preschool children lack the conscious representation and executive functioning needed to solve problems based on conflicting rules. The present study investigates whether the bilingual advantage in control can be found in a nonverbal task, the dimensional change card sort, used by Zelazo and Frye to assess CCC. This problem contains misleading information characteristic of high-control tasks but minimal demands for analysis. Sixty preschool children, half of whom were bilingual, were divided into a group of younger 4.2 and older (M = 5,5) children. All the children were given a test of English proficiency and working memory (Visually-Cued Recall Task) to assure comparability of the groups and then administered the dimensional change card sort task and the moving word task. The bilingual children were more advanced than the monolinguals in the solving of experimental problems requiring high levels of control. These results demonstrate the role of attentional control in both these tasks, extends our knowledge about the cognitive development of bilingual children, and provides a means of relating developmental proposals articulated in two different theoretical frameworks, namely, CCC and analysis-control."
This goes to show us that the wiring in the head of bilingual people is different that monolingual. As one can see by this research. And it makes sense as I've always thought so myself, because bilingual people have two ways of speaking... in thier thinking, and somehow I associate different things in different languages, and in order to relate this into either language I have to do more thinking and more analytical breakdown to reach the same conclusions or to break it into another language. I guess this makes bilingual children and people more apt to more wiring because of the more thought processes and use of the brain, as the brains a muscle, more is developed in the area of language and in just plain usage - allowing for a quicker brain continuum of processes. So in my opinion since monolingual people don't have to go through all these different barriers in association and thinking, Bilingual people do think differently from monolingual - although is it better? maybe some more research will be needed in the future.

How are humans different from animals when it comes to "habits"?

Humans & Animals:

Humans consist of the same biodegradble matter as everything else... however we have an advantage which is our mind.

"If making associations is not thinking, then I would have to conclude that I do not think." People with autism and animals both think by making visual associations. These associations are like snapshots of events and tend to be very specific. For example, a horse might fear bearded me n when it sees one in the barn, but bearded men might be tolerated in the riding arena. In this situation the horse may only fear bearded men in the barn because he may have had a bad past experience in the barn with a bearded man".

Habits which each species has are included in the physces of each respective conscious making decision. However humans have mathematics as a area of knowledge which makes us use this are of knowledge to discern the world around us. Animals don't have this, areA of knowledge, and they don't have art which is another habit making way to look at this world.

El arte es una mentira que nos acerca a la verdad.

[Art is a lie that brings us nearer to the truth.] - Picasso

Habits are induced form the brain, and since us humans have a usable brain that we can clearly mold our world with then we have ways of knowing... which for this matter i will pick religion & science.

Religion molds quite a lot in what we think about and how we see this world. Animals don't have none of this. WE also have science which also molds our world, in the understanding of it, animals lack this aswell.

Why the 9/11 Conspiracy Theories Won't Go Away

Why the 9/11 Conspiracy Theories Won't Go Away.

"Conspiracy theories arise from evidence. After the government releases an explanation of a particular event, a conspiracy theory is only born because evidence exists to disprove their explanation, or at least call it into question. There's nothing insane about it, unless you define sanity as believing whatever the government tells you. In light of the fact that our government lies to us regularly, I would define believing everything they tell you as utter stupidity."

-this in itself is already a conspiracy theory, as it states clearly that the government "lies to us regularly". Conspiracy theories often see dark motives and wrong intent when a mistake or something is seen or heard that they don't like, without even considering the far more likely possibility that there is a logical explanation, or that it was the product of coincidence, accident, or just plain error. A conspiracy theory is a theory seeking to explain a disputed case or matter as a plot by a secret group or alliance rather than an individual or isolated act, and in this 9/11 case - a terrorist group, which the USA then attacks a country which supports this terrorist group, although it had no initial knowledge of this... then it makes millions on cooperative shares.
Of course the president and his company, as well as the vice presidents has gained major surplus of income. So these two plus a crazy amount of other evidence from, the crashes, eye accounts, etc. etc., create some pretty suspicious people. Many fallacies and other things exist in these theme, as these huge reasons, provide poor support of the conclusion reached by the American government. Additionally the conspiracy theorist have provided substantial amount of evidence to counter - attack and have lesser fallacy, so the odds are pretty weird, right? Many theorist use the way of knowing of mathematics to conclude some of their facts, as in degrees and angles in debris, and the impossibility of certain buildings collapsing. Also what is used is Science to provide evidence that certain metals don't melt at certain high degrees, and the specifications of jet fuel on other specification of scientifically features of building safety - as in strenght, wind force, fire etc. etc.
These few reasons highlighted here show why conspiracy theories wont ever go away. :)

How do we know what really happened on 9/11?

Good question, I really don't think this question will ever be answered unless, of course, and hopefully a revolution occurs in the U.S. of A. Then we can squeeze it out from Mr.Bush or Mr.Obama, OR whomever.

"Plotting a collision world wide, Watch the hour glass the power class, Showing currency for world supremacy,

Using bar codes, Military blocks on all the state roads "

-Voice of the Underground

The knowledge factor here is the information that is not given out, we need to unite as a planet and ask for the real information! What could be done is of course is a thourough investigation of all the happenings that occured on that unfortunate day. The people that died on that day have the right to truth, and especially the family of the victims. We could take the rational explanation and facts and scale them accordingly, My opinion is that what happened had to be planned although - I really don't even like thinking about this. However something needs to be done.... the book that came out outlining what happened was incredible... incredibly ridicoulous, with false analogies, and sylogyms. There are many things that just don't add up... and when things don't add up - well I always then begin to think and investigate. Using these knowledge issues could be a way to know what happened... but the truth is out there, we need to take it !

Is abortion ethical?

Is abortion ethical?
*Ethics is a major branch of philosophy, encompassing right conduct and good life. It is significantly broader than the common conception of analyzing right and wrong...

Abortion itself I think is a neccesity for the persons who undertake it, the problems that may arise because of a child may be greater than the actual operation itself - and the physical, mental & spirtual factors that come along with the operation. For it to be considered plainly unethical is an extremely difficult conclusion. The planet earth now consists of 6 billion + human beings, to put another human being on this planet with the sometimes and usually problematic situations that surround a baby that is considered to be aborted - rape, mistake, age etc. is perhaps a higher ethical factor to consider than an abortion. The problematic situations that usually surround an abortion "candidate" if not aborted - these problems will need to be faced by a living being, which sometimes may lead to an unhappy life. As the definition says on ethics, "encompassing right conduct and good life" well right conduct should be already applied to the beginning - what i mean is to use a contraceptive device, or to abstine from any sex at all, these two are righr conduct, which leads to a good life, hence that problem won't affect you.
These are to me good points to consider.

Will Science one day solve everything?

Will science one day solve everything? Good question! I really don't know. The physicists are trying to find an equation that solves everything, okay.. sounds nice...I Think physics however can and will solve everything. According to the law of attraction we attract all that we constantly focus on. If we think about the relation between the law of attraction and quantum physics, the quantum physics explains that nothing in this world is fixed and there are no limitations. Quantum physics also explain that all that exists in the universe is vibrating energy. If you want to achieve your desires and come out of the feeling of getting stuck, you need to believe that everything in this world is energy and this energy exists in a state of potential. You also require to apply the law of attraction to achieve success. Remember that we are the creators of the universe. According to the classical physics of Newton, the universe is made up of discrete blocks of building. These blocks are solid and cannot be changed. The quantum physics delivers an explanation that there are no separate parts of the universe. Everything exists in the form of fluid and keeps on transforming from time to time. The physics sees this world as a deep ocean of energy that keeps on coming into existence and vanishing out of this universe constantly.People living in this world change the energy with their thoughts. Hence, it is true that one can easily create that what he or she wants to achieve. In short, human beings are solely responsible for the achievement of their goals and loss of their desires.
In conclusion this is why maybe science will solve everything one day...

What makes psuedo science, psuedo?

Astrology vs. Astronomy!

I like both of these "sciences", in this particular blog i will discuss the differences between these two.
On one hand astrology is not considered a science on the basis of a testable mechanism is not found... this testable mechanism which applies to the force planets exert over our lives, is not testable. One argument astrologers give is that this testable mechanism is not yet found, they give a few examples of past scientific proposals which were not found a scientific method explanation... but that these things came later. Another difference is that the events stated by astrologers are not clearly event, that is, no real data is provided over the subjects. Everything in astrology in questionable. Even the claims themselves are questionable. This leads me to say that astrology relies more on belief and it enters the realm of religion.

On the other hand is astronomy which deals with science and reason. It is a study and science of celestial objects, astronomy deals with analazing data and collecting data. Sometimes through physics other times through describing with computer programs and such. So in conclusion pseudo science is one which relies more heavily on belief than in reason.. given in these two clear examples, i have reached the conclusion what makes psuedo science, psuedo.
